After the enormous success of the affordable Mi Band 2 – Xiaomi, the Chinese company has today announced Mi Band 3, its latest offering at its annual product launch event held in China. the band just like its predecessor offers features such counting steps, counting heart rate sensor and can also reject a call with a long press.

Mi Band 3 Specifications

The Mi Band 3 sports a plastic body and bears a 0.78-inch OLED panel with 128 x 80 pixel resolution. it features triaxial acceleration sensor, and PPG heart rate sensor which connects to the device by Bluetooth 4.2 BLE Edition and support phones with Smart Lock function running on Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 and above. it is juiced by an 110mAh Lithium Ion Polymer Battery capacity which the company claims offers a Standby time of about 20 days. it comes with 5ATM waterproof ratings. the fitness tracker bands also comes with NFC variant which as expected is priced a little higher. it comes with a new upgraded algorithm which is more accurate and count every step you take.

The Mi Band 3 is priced at CNY 169 (approx Rs.1750 )for the regular variant. Whereas the NFC variant is priced at CNY 199 (approx Rs. 2000) and is expected to go on sale in September. it is already available for pre-booking and you can get one for yourself from here.
