By on April 12, 2016 0 171 Views

Microsoft launched Windows Vista 9 yrs ago preceded by Windows XP. Microsoft has already ended its main stream support 4 yrs ago i.e on 10 April 2012 and now the extended support will end on 11th April 2017.

Windows Vista was not so popular Windows but still it was designed in a modern way! A very unique Operating System which included Windows Aero, Gadgets, and Instant Search for the Start Menu. Windows Vista has only  1.41% on PC installed. That’s below the number of Windows XP, which is still used by 10.9% of PCs even though Microsoft ended its support over two years ago.

Windows Vista can’t get a free upgrade to Windows 10, for them they have to buy Windows 10 or Install Windows 7,8,8.1 to get the free upgrade!

Windows Vista was succeeded by Windows 7, which launched in October 2009 and became a major upgrade achievement for Microsoft.
