WhatsApp Messenger will now allow you to share any File type and more

WhatsApp Messenger, will soon allow you to share any type of files from their popular messenger application, along with the option to view multiple share photos in group view. the update will be enabled from the server side. the company at present is experimenting the feature with only few users.

WhatsApp previously allowed file sharing format of csv, doc, docx, pdf, ppt, pptx, rtf, txt, xls, xlsx and other similar format.

 

 
These are the limit of the maximum file size you can share now:
– • Android: 100 MB
– • iOS: 128 MB
– • Windows Phone: 105 MB
– • Web / Desktop: 64 MB
 

 
Along with support for sharing all file types, the company has also enabled the feature which groups multiple photos into a single bundle. check the screenshot below.

The company has already started rolling out the feature but its really slow. all we can say is that you have to be very luck to get this feature right now but hey don’t worry the feature has just started to rolled out and will eventually available to all WhatsApp users on Android,  iOSWindows Phone and Web / Desktop.
 

 
The Company is also planning to introduced new photo filters named as Pop, Cool, B&W, Film,Warm and Chrome along with Live Location feature, which allows to tracks the live location of other group members, Ability to share Text Status and Recall feature which allows you to Edit or Revoke the Sent Message, If it isn’t seen by the recipient. the company has recently introduced Pin Chat features to Android users which helps to keep important chats at sight. you can read more about them here.
