Vivo X21 with In-Display Fingerprint Sensor & 6GB RAM Launched in India

Vivo, the Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer has today finally announced the much awaited Vivo X21 in the ‘X Series’ at a launch event held in New Delhi. The biggest highlight feature of the device is that it is India’s first smartphone with an under-display (In-DIsplay) Fingerprint sensor — Not just that, it also sports a 6.28-inch FHD+ 19:9 Super AMOLED display with a Top notch which accommodates a selfie camera, proximity sensor. it sports a 3D Glass Body with an screen-to-body ratio of  90.3-percent. The Vivo X21 is priced at Rs. 35,990 in India and will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting from today in Black and Gold colour options.

The VIVO X21, with its beautiful design and innovative features, strikes the perfect balance between style and technology. It comes with the In-Display Fingerprint scanning technology to provide a futuristic and secure unlocking experience. It has a 15.95 cm (6.28) 19:9 FHD+ FullView Display, with up to 90.3% screen-to-body ratio for a better viewing experience. Its Dual Pixel Sensors and AI Photography improve focus speed and boost picture clarity due to a larger pixel count. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AI processor, along with 6GB of RAM, this phone offers seamless and fast multitasking. Thanks to its 128 GB of storage space, you can now store a large number of photos, music files, videos and applications on this phone.

Vivo X21 specifications
The Vivo X21 bears a 6.28-inch (2280 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. it is powered by an 2.2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE Mobile Platform which comes with a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Chip and coupled with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 512 GPU. the device comes with 128GB of on-board storage and supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. as mentioned earlier the device comes with under-display Fingerprint sensor.

On the optics front, the device sports a dual rear camera setup which consists a combination of 12-megapixel primary camera with F/1.8 aperture and a Dual Pixel technology with Samsung S5K2L8 sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with F/2.4 aperture, AI HDR to capture depth-of-field for portrait shots. it also features Slow Motion video recording, AI HDR, Portrait and Bokeh, Live Photo, AR Stickers, and Shot Refocus. on the front, there’s also 12-megapixel selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture and offers Live Photo, AI Face Beauty, AI HDR, Portrait mode, Bokeh mode and AR Stickers.

The device runs on Funtouch operating system 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by an 3,200 mAh battery with fast charging support. on the connectivity front, the option includes Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG and a 3.5mm audio jack. it also on-boards accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and comes built-in with a AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip. the device measures 154.45 × 74.78 × 7.37mm and weights at 156.2 grams.
