Sony Xperia R1 Plus, Xperia R1 launched, Pricing Starts from Rs.12,990

Sony, the Japanese smart phone manufacturer announced two new devices from it portfolio of “Xperia R” series. the company today launched the mid-ranger Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus which are designed especially for the Indian market offering value-for-money devices.

Xperia R1 Plus, Xperia R1 Specification

The Xperia R1 Plus and Xperia R1 bears a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720p) HD Display powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. both, the device are backed by 2,620 mAH battery and support USB Type-C port. the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat update out-of-the box and are eligible to upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo update.

The Xperia R1 Plus and Xperia R1 features similar hardware, except RAM and storage differences. The Xperia R1 Plus is packed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. whereas, the Xperia R1 is packed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage.

On the optics front, The Xperia R1 Plus and Xperia R1 sports 13-megapixel rear camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, Exmor Sony Sensor, Continuous Shooting, 12 Capturing Modes, 8X Clear Zoom, ISO 3200 for photos, Countdown Timer, Beauty Mode, Face Detection and LED Flash.

On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie camera Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, Continuous Shooting, 12 Capturing Modes, 8X Clear Zoom, ISO 3200 for photos; ISO 2400 for videos, Countdown Timer, Beauty Mode, and Face Detection.

Th Xperia R1 Plus and Xperia R1 connectivity option includes 4G LTE, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi Miracast, Google Cast, Screen Mirroring and Bluetooth Steoreo (A2DP). both, the device measures at 146 x 73.2 x 8.89 mm and weights at 154 grams.

The Sony Xperia R1 Plus and Xperia R1 are priced at Rs. 14,990 and 12,990 respectively and will be available starting from November 10 in Black and Silver Colour options across Sony Mobile Center’s and all major offline retailers. both, the device will also be available online in the country via Amazon India and Flipkart.
