Sony Mobile, the Japanese smart phone manufacturer has today announced the budget offering Xperia L2 along with the Sony Xperia XA2, and Xperia XA2 Ultra at CES 2018. the USP of the device is its 120-degree wide-angle selfie shooter and 13-megapixel rear camera. The device comes with built-in applications like Movie Creator, AR Effect, and Xperia Lounge and includes Clear Audio+ and Clear Bass audio output.

The Sony Xperia L2 bears a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) HD display with Image Enhance Technology and corning gorilla glass protection. it is powered by an 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737T processor paired with 3GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. the device is packed with 32GB on-board storage and supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. the device sports a rear facing fingerprint sensor

On the optics front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with with F/2.0 aperture and 1/3.06″ image sensor, Low-light photo: ISO3200 and offers 3x clear image zoom. on the front, there’s 8-megapixel super wide-angle selfie camera with 120-degree Field-of-View, F/2.4 aperture and 1/4″ image sensor.

The Sony Xperia L2 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-the box and is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging, Battery Care and STAMINA Mode. connectivity option includes dual (Nano) SIM, 4G VoLTE , Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS), Google Cast, NFC, and USB Type-C. it measures at 150 x 78 x 9.8 mm and weights at 178 grams.

The Sony Xperia L2 is expected to go on sale later this month in Black, Gold and Pink colour options. however, the company has not reveal the device pricing as yet. but, whenever that happens we will make sure to update this article. for more information stay tuned in for further updates!
