Selfie-Centric Oppo F5 With Bezel-Less Display, 6GB RAM Set To Launch in India on Nov, 2

Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is soon expected to announce a new device in portfolio of its F-series. the device is dubbed as Oppo F5 and is successor to the company’s popular handset the Oppo F3 which was launched earlier this year.

The company has already started sending the press invites confirming the announcement of Oppo F5 at a launch event scheduled on November 2 in India. the press invites read the caption “Capture the real you” which clearly hints that the highlight feature of the device will be its camera.

The Oppo F5 as expected will sport dual selfie cameras just like its predecessor and will also be the company’s first handset offering Full-Vision Display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Coming to the specifications, The Oppo F5 is rumoured to bear a 6-inch Full-Vision (2160 x 1080 p) bezel-less Display with 18:9 aspect ratio. the device is expected to powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. on the storage front, the device will come with 64GB of on-board storage and will support storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. the device will run on ColorOS based on Android 7.0 Nougat update and its quite surprising considering the release of Android 8.0 Oreo.

On the optics front, the device is expected to sport a dual 16-megapixel selfie cameras along with a 20-megapixel rear camera. the device is also expected to built-in with an AI Beauty Recognition technology which recognizes skin tone, age, and gender of the user.

The device is expected to back by a 4,000 mAh non-removable battery with the company’s in-house Fast-Charging support.
