Samsung Electronics has today extended its portfolio of the ‘Note’ series with the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note9 at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2018 held in New York. the device comes with a new improved S Pen stylus and has gain few more weight with newer functionalities, and it is also touted to sport Samsung’s most intelligent camera with feature such as Scene Optimize, Flaw Detection.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is priced in the US at $999 (approx ₹68,800 | €867) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and at $1,250 (approx ₹86,000 | €1,084) for the 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. it will be available for pre-booking starting from August 10, and will go on sale starting from August 24 in Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper with matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen colour options.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ (2960×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18:5:9 aspect ratio, 516 PPI Pixel density, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. the device will be powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform paired with Adreno 630 GPU in the US market, whereas, in other market it will be powered by a octa-core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor paired with Mali G72MP18 GPU. it comes with support for the fastest network speeds available in the market with up to 1.2 gigabits per second to stream and download without slowing down, and a industry-leading and Samsung developed Water Carbon Cooling system and on-device AI-based performance adjusting algorithm to deliver the powerful yet stable performance.
As mentioned earlier, the device comes in two storage configurations — the standard variant with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 128GB RAM storage, and the premium variant with 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 512GB storage. both, the variant would support storage expansion upto 512GB via MicroSD card. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is fueled by a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support both on wired (Wired charging compatible with QC2.0 and AFC) and wireless mode (Wireless charging compatible with WPC and PMA).
