Panasonic Mobile, the Japanese smartphone manufacturer on Wednesday announced the company’s latest budget offering the entry level Panasonic P90 in India. the device is priced at Rs. 5,599 and will be available via offline channels across India starting today, from June 20th in Blue, Black and Gold color options.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “Post our association with Corning, we are happy to launch another P-series device, P90, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection which will keep the device protected from all damage and scratches. It has a 5MP front camera with LED flash and smart features such as Smart Action and Gestures which helps the users to access their device with utmost ease. The stylish device is launched to target the youth, letting them explore the new innovation and technology.”
The Panasonic P90 bears a 5-inch (1280 x 720p) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. it is powered by an 64-Bit 1.25GHz Quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor paired with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. the device comes with 16GB of internal storage and supports storage expansion up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat update and is backed by an 2,400 mAh battery.
In the camera department, the device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with AutoFocus and LED flash. it also supports Panorama, Beauty mode, HDR mode, live filters and more. on the front, there’s an 5MP front-facing selfie camera with LED flash.
Connectivity option includes Dual Sim, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM Radio, USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm audio jack. it also on-boards Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, and Ambient light sensor. the device measures at 143 x 71.8 x 9.3 and weights at 151.7 grams.
