Palm, the California based company who has acquired the rights of Palm brand from TCL launched their first offering a tiny new phone called simple as Palm Phone (2018). the device is a little larger than a credit card, and fits perfectly in your hand thanks to a 3.2-inch HD display. it is powered by an octa-core snapdragon 435 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo update out-of-the box.

The Palm Phone 2018 is no gimmick. instead, the company wants you to use it as your secondary device when you’re out on your next adventure sports such as Trekking, Caving, Paragliding or Jet Skiing. it can be more useful in such situation than most of the fragile phones which we currently use as our primary phone.

Palm Phone 2018 Features Highlights

  • Not just smaller. It’s smarter, too.

Palm’s unique interface is built for smarter, faster action. Using voice activation, quick actions and the Gesture Pad, you can launch your favorite app, start a timer, play music, schedule a meeting and more.

  • The world in your Palm.

Your digital life now fits in the palm of your hand. Palm is super smart, not supersized. Enjoy a stunning display, 12MP rear-facing camera and a full suite of Android apps—all in an ultra-mobile connected device that’s about the size of a credit card.

  • Leave your phone behind.

NumberShare syncs your Palm with your primary phone, enabling you to receive texts, alerts and phone calls. Stay fully connected to your digital life, even when you leave your phone behind — track runs, post to social media and respond to calls, emails and texts.

  • Live in the moment.

Never miss out on the world around you. Life Mode is a unique Palm feature that lets you stay connected while minimizing digital distractions. It puts you in control of what gets your attention so you can stay connected and present in the moment.

  • Made to be accessorized.

One device, many looks. Dress your Palm up or down depending on the occasion. Slip it into a fashionable folio case for a night on the town, clip it to your armband while working out or attach it to a sleek wristlet before your next coffee run.

As quoted by Android Authority, “With that in mind, you can only buy this smartphone from Verizon and only as an add-on device. In other words, you must have a line with Verizon with a primary, full-sized device attached to it, and then you can add this device to that same account. The phone number attached to your main Verizon phone will also be the number used on the Palm phone, allowing you to grab either one when you’re headed out the door to do whatever it is you have planned to do that day.”
