OnePlus Starts Rolling Out Stable Android 9.0 Pie Update for OnePlus 6

Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus has started rolling out the stable Android 9.0 Pie update for OnePlus 6. the latest update marks OxygenOS version as 9.0 matching its counterpart Android 9.0 Pie version number and includes feature such as New UI based on Android Pie, New Android Pie gesture navigation, Gaming mode 3.0, Support for customizing accent colors, and other new features and system improvements.

Starting with the Android Pie, OxygenOS version number will correspond with the Android version number.

The OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 9.0 OTA update will have a staged rollout and will reach a limited numbers of users starting from today, with broader rollout commencing in few days.

The company now is reportedly working on OnePlus 6T, successor of the company’s previous flagship offering. the official promo of the device featuring Amitabh Bachchan, India’s biggest superstar is already out, and the OnePlus 6T Amazon India Notify page is also live. All this latest developments suggests that the device launch is imminent in India.
