OnePlus started rolling out OxygenOS 3.5.8 for the OnePlus 2 Owners

OnePlus started rolling out OxygenOS 3.5.8 for the OnePlus 2. the update is available OTA, and starting today it will reach a small percentage of users, with the broader roll out commencing in the coming days. the company has still not pushed Android 7.0 Nougat update to the OnePlus 2 devices which the OnePlus 2 owners are craving for, and the wait still goes on. the company yesterday announced the MP Early Access Program for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users which will allow a select group of users to get the software build (OxygenOS) that are currently tested internally by the company  as a release candidate to OTA for all users, a bit early.

Here are the changes for OxygenOS 3.5.8 build:

  • Updated Google security patch to 1st March 2017
  • Fixed echo issue during video calls in Duo App
  • Fixed persistent network drop issues
  • Fixed data roaming issue in certain countries
  • Improved audio compatibility
  • General bug fixes

You can grab the update when it will available for you, by heading towards Settings > System Updates > Check for Updates.
