OnePlus released OxygenOS 4.5.11 OTA for OnePlus 5, Brings  Android security patch to September & More

OnePlus has released a new update for their latest flagship device, the OnePlus 5. the latest update marks the operating system version as OxygenOS 4.5.11 update and brings Android security patch to September along with various improvements including Support for customization of notification ringtone, Improved launching speed of apps and Optimized adaptive brightness.

The recent Over-the-air update will reach a small percentage of users today, and will begin a broader rollout in the coming days.

To quickly recalled, the OnePlus 5 was launched Globally on June 20, followed up by the India Launch on June 22. the smartphone is available in two variants, the standard version is available in Slate Grey color with 6GB RAM/ 64GB in-built storage is priced at Rs. 32,999. while, the premium version is available in Midnight Black color with 8GB RAM/ 128GB in-built storage is priced at Rs. 37,999.

The biggest USP of the OnePlus 5 smartphone is its rear dual camera setup with a combination of 16-megapixel wide-angle camera (Sony IMX 398 sensor) and 20-megapixel Telephoto camera (Sony IMX 350 sensor) which the company claims is the highest resolution dual-camera system on a smartphone today.
