OnePlus 6 Confirmed, OnePlus 3 and 3T Will Soon Grab Beta Version of Face Unlock Feature

OnePlus, The Shenzhen based smartphone manufacturer has confirmed today that its next flagship the OnePlus 6 will launch in the second quarter of this year.

The information comes straight from the company’s CEO, Pete Lau who in an interview with CNET at the ongoing CES, 2018, disclosed that the next flagship will be announced in the second quarter in June, on the lines of its predecessor OnePlus 5 and will be powered by Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 845 mobile platform which was unveiled on December, 2017.

Pete Lau, said, that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to team-up with United States based mobile carriers to boost their sales in the region and it would begin talks with the carriers later this year. he further stated that, “he wasn’t 100 percent sure if the company would sell a second phone in 2018.

There’s also some good news for the OnePlus 3 and 3T users as Carl Pei, co-founder, OnePlus, said, “the OnePlus 3 and 3T would soon get a beta version of the company’s Face Unlock feature which was recently introduced in the 5T.”

The company’ recent flagship OnePlus 5T is currently rated as one of the best device in upper mid-range segment in India. the company holds a strong Fan base in the country and recently announced the device variant in Star Wars Edition and Lava Red edition.
