OnePlus 5 will be soon available offline via Croma stores, Starting from September 19.

OnePlus 5, the most awaited smartphone of the year was launched in India earlier this year in June. the device is available for purchase only via Amazon India and the company’s e-store. however, In a bid to expand it presence in the offline markets the company has teamed up with Croma, India’s largest retail chain for consumer electronics which is run by Infiniti Retail Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of TATA Sons.

The company is aiming to setup experience zones across top 10 cities in the country to boost its offline presence as it considers India as one of its top rated market.

As per a report by CyberMedia Research, a firm that conducts the Mobile Industry Consumer Insight (MICI) Survey to understand the desires, preferences, likes, dislikes and challenges around smartphone brands from the consumers point of view rated OnePlus among the top trusted smartphone brand in India, with 100 per cent users satisfaction.

Prabhu Ram, Head – Industry Intelligence Group, CyberMedia Research, stated, “As per the latest CMR MICI Survey findings, one interesting trend that stands out is that while Apple and Samsung dominate, a brand like OnePlus is securing a healthy mindshare amongst Indian smartphone consumers.”

 

The OnePlus 5 was announced in India at a launch event held in Mumbai on June 22. the smartphone was first was unveiled globally at a launch event held in New York on June, 20. coming to the pricing, the device is available in two variants different variant – The standard version is available in Slate Grey and Soft Gold color variant with 6GB RAM/ 64GB on-board storage and is priced at Rs. 32,999. while, the premium version available in Midnight Black color with 8GB RAM/ 128GB in-built storage is priced at Rs. 37,999.
