Hmd Global, who currently owns the ‘Nokia’ brand license for smartphones and Tablets is yet to introduce a true flagship device from the company’s smartphone lineup of 2018. There were reports earlier that the Finnish company is closely working secretly with its hardware supplier and manufacturing partner Foxconn (FIH Mobile) on a brand new flagship device which was tipped to be known internally as Nokia A1 Plus or “A1P” — there was a lot of buzz that the Nokia A1 Plus is actually Nokia 9 and was expected to debut at the recently concluded IFA, 2018 last week. unfortunately, that didn’t happened and we still have to wait before the company comes forward for the official announcement.

Nevertheless, Nokia 9 still remains the most anticipated smartphone among FANS and the rumoured mills thanks to the first of it kind, Penta-Lens cameras setup which it is rumoured to bring onboard. as per fresh reports a prototype of Nokia 9 with model number TA-1094 surfaced online which revealed the device from front and back side.

In a separate report, what seems like an first real-life images of Nokia 9 prototype surfaced online which look more raw and convincing. it also revealed the device with Penta-lens camera sensor paired with a LED flash module placed on the right, Zeiss branding sitting at the center, with a vertically placed Nokia’s logo, and Android One branding at the bottom.

Earlier reports suggests, The Nokia 9 will feature a 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and in-display fingerprint sensor, powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 256GB onboard storage, running on Android 9.0 Pie and fueled by a massive 3,900 mAh battery.

Nokia 9, is seen as the finnish company’s  first camera-centric offering and the successor to the company’s successful Windows phone offering Lumia 1020 which featured a ‘PureView’ branding camera with 41-Megapixel sensor.

HMD Global recently acquired ‘PureView’ trademark which was pass to Microsoft after the acquisition of Nokia’s Service and Device division. the company previous also bought the Asha branding. it will be interesting to see whether Nokia 9 will comes with PureView branding technology or not.
