Nokia 6 4GB RAM Variant Launched in India – Price, Specification, Availability

HMD Global, the Finnish company has today launched yet another smartphone in India and this time the company is re-introducing the Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM and 64GB on-board storage variant. the new Nokia 6 variant will be available only in Matte Black colour option and will go on sale from February 20 as Flipkart exclusive. Interested buyers can head over to Nokia 6 (Matte Black, 64 GB) page on Flipkart and register themselves under the ‘Notify Me” button. the Nokia 6 is originally priced at Rs. 18,499. however, Flipkart is giving away an extra discount of Rs. 1500, making the device available for just Rs. 16,999.

HMD Global, the Finnish company which owns the license to use Nokia’s brand name on phones and tablets officially launched the Nokia 6 along with Nokia 5 , Nokia 3  and revamp version of the iconic Nokia 3310 (2017) at Mobile World Congress, 2017 Barcelona.

Nokia 6 Specification

The mid-ranger Nokia 6 is HMD Global first smartphone after acquiring Nokia’s devices division from Microsoft. it is also the first Nokia-branded smartphone since Lumia 638 in 2014 and was first announced earlier this year in China before it was announced internationally. coming to the specifications, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixel) display, sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass with wide color reproduction and a pixel density of 403 PPI and features Sunlight readability. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform coupled with 3GB/4G of RAM and comes with 32GB/64GB of internal storage options and is further expandable upto 128GB via MicroSD card support. the smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out of the box and is backed by non-removable 3000 mAh of battery support. the Nokia 6 Dual SIM has a hybrid card slot for either second SIM card or MicroSD card.

On the optics front, the smartphone sports a 16-megapixel primary camera with Phase detection Auto-focus (PDAF), 1.0um pixel sensor, F/2.0 Apeture and dual tone flash. it also sports a Front-facing camera of 8-megapixel with Auto-focus, 1.12um pixel sensor, F/2.0 aerture,and 84 degrees wide-angle lens.

The smartphone also supports audio enhancement thanks to the Dual speakers, Smart amplifier (TFA9891) with Dolby Atmos and  3.5 mm headphone jack. on the connectivity front, the options include 4G LTE (150Mbps DL/50Mbps UL), Micro USB (USB 2.0), USB OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1  and NFC. it also on-boards sensors including Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, Hall sensor, fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor.

The smartphone comes in Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver, Copper and Arte Black (limited edition) colour options which is the only variant packed with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. the smartphone measure at 154 x 75.8 x 7.85 mm and 8.4 with camera bump.
