Motorola : Only these 12 devices are eligible to receive Android 8.0 Oreo Update

Lenovo owned Motorola has released a list of devices which are eligible to get the upcoming Android 8.0 Oreo update. the company in a blog post stated, “Sweet just got even sweeter with the new Android OS update that gives you faster speeds, longer battery life, split-screen capabilities, smart text selection, improved notifications, autofill framework for your trickiest of passwords, and of course, the all new Google Play Protect, helping to ensure none of your apps become compromised.”

List of Eligible Motorola devices Upgrading With Android 8.0 Oreo update :

• moto z : Android 8.0 (Oreo) upgrade rollout began in April 2018.
• moto z Droid
• moto z Force Droid
• moto z Play : Android 8.0 (Oreo) rollout began April 2018.
• moto z Play Droid
• moto z2 Play : This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
• moto z2 Force Edition
• moto x4 : Android 8 (Oreo) rollout began in December 2017.
• moto g5 : This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
• moto g5 Plus : This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
• moto g5S : This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.
• moto g5S Plus : This device will be upgraded to the Android 8 (Oreo) release of Android, pending partner support.

The company however hasn’t revealed any details regarding the exact time frame other than that the official roll out of Android 8.0 Oreo update for the eligible devices will began starting from this fall. however, there’s a disappointing news for The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones users, as the both the devices are not scheduled to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update.
