Moto Z2 Play with support for Moto Mods launched in India at Rs. 27,999

Lenovo owned Motorola today launched the Moto Z2 Play smartphone in India. The device is successor of the popular Moto Z Play which was originally announced last year in August 2016 at IFA Berlin. along with the Moto Z2 Play smartphone the company also announced new Moto Mods which will be available in the next few months. the pre-order of the smartphone has already began and will last till June, 14 and will available on Flipkart and other offline stores starting from June, 15. the company has launched the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with Dual-SIM support in the country.

The Moto Z2 smartphone is priced at RS. 27,999 and is bundled with some exciting offers which includes pre-booking the smartphone for RS. 2000 and pay the remaining balalnce at 0% interest in the next 10 months. the offer is valid through Bajaj or HomeCredit, you can also swipe your card and convert the payment into 3/6/9/12 months EMI without any interest at select stores. the company is also providing another offer to protect the device from any damages with its Moto Armor Pack which comes with protective accessories. the company has further teamed with Reliance Jio to provide 100GB of additional data for Jio users for both Pre-booking and Regular customers.

Moto Z2 Play Specifications

The Moto Z2 Play smartphone features a ultra-slim aluminum unibody and is packed with a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p (1920 x 1080) Super-AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top along with a pixel density of 401PPI. the device is equipped with Motorola Mobile Computing System, including Qualcomm (Octa-Core CPU) Snapdragon 626 processor clocked up to 2.2 GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU, Natural Language Processor and Contextual Computing Processor. the device is available in two variants differ by storage and RAM – 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage however, as mentioned earlier only the later is introduced for the Indian market. it also supports storage expansion upto 2TB via MicroSD card slot.

The Moto Z2 play smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and is packed with 3000 mAh battery with support for TurboPower charging which offers up to 8 hours of use in just 15 minutes and charges the device upto 50% charge in 30 minutes. the device is Water repellent and is protected with nano-coating. it also features a Finger print sensor which is embedded on home button.

The Moto Z2 Play smartphone was launched  last week launched in the United States at $499 and  is expected to go on sale starting this summer in the region.
