Moto X4 Launched With Dual Rear Cameras, Amazon Alexa Support at IFA, 2017

Lenovo owned Motorola officially unveiled the Moto X4 at IFA, 2017. the highlight feature of the device is its Dual Rear Cameras setup and comes with support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice based search. The Moto X4 comes with IP68 rating and is water and dust resistant.
Availability and Pricing

The Moto X4 will be available starting from September in various countries in Europe at €399 (approx Rs. 30,500) and will be available in other global markets, including United States later this fall.


Moto X4 Specification


The Moto X4 sports a metal unibody design and bears  5.2-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 p) LTPS IPS display with pixel density of 424ppi  and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. it is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with  3GB/4GB of RAM and Adreno 508 GPU and will packed with 32GB/64GB on-board storage, expandable up-to 2TB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-box and is backed by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery which the company claims will last for a day, it also supports 15W TurboPower which gives 6 hours of power in 15 minutes.

On the optics front, as said earlier the device sports a dual rear camera setup placed at the back with a protecting round shape ring. the camera consists a combination of 12MP Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor with F/2.0 aperture, and 1.4um micron pixel and 8MP ultra-wide angle with 120-Degree field-of-view sensor with F/2.2 aperture and 1.12um micron pixel. the dual camera comes with Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) dual LED flash, Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), Ultra-wide angle shot, it also features Professional mode, Depth detection and depth effects, Selective Focus, Selective Black & White (beta), Background Replacement (beta), Spot Color, Landmark/Object Recognition, Scan barcode/QR codes/Business cards, Panorama, Slo-motion video and Best shot modes.

On the front, there is 16-megapixel selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture, and 1um micron pixel, selfie flash, adaptive low light mode, Selfie panorama, Face filters, Beautification mode and Professional mode.

Both, the cameras are capable of capturing video recording in 2160P/4K (30fps), 1080P (60fps), 720P (30fps), 480P (30fps) format.

On the connectivity front, the option includes Single Nano SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz + 5GHz, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. it also on-board Fingerprint sensor, Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, Magnetometer, Gyroscope and Sensor Hub. the device measures 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm (9.45 mm at camera bump) at and weights at 163 grams. the device will be available in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.
