Lenovo owned Motorola has today launched the mid-ranger Moto 1s in China. Interestingly, the device seems similar to the Moto G6 which was launched last month. the notable difference between both the devices is its software as the Moto 1S runs on Lenovo’s ZUI 3.5 based on Android 8.0 Oreo update. whereas, the Moto G6 runs on stock Android. the Moto 1S also features a ZUI branding at the back which is obviously not present in Moto G6.
The Moto 1S bears a 5.7-inch (1080 x 2160 p) Full-HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. it is powered by an 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. the device is packed with 64GB internal storage and supports storage expansion up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. the device also sports a glass back and features a fingerprint sensor and comes with Dolby audio technology, and P2i nano splash-proof coating for water resistance.
On the optics front, the device sports a dual rear camera setup placed horizontally which is a combination of a 12-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture which offers depth-of-view effects. it also includes various modes such portrait mode, panorama mode, and time-lapse video. on the front, there’s 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The Moto 1S juiced by an 3,000 mAh battery with Turbo charging support and includes connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack. it also on-boards accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. the device measures at 154.5 x 72.3 x 8.3mm and weights 168 grams.
The Moto 1s is priced at CNY 1,499 (Approx Rs. 15,900) and is available for purchase from the Motorola’s online store and Motorola store in China. the device is available in Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder colour options.
