Microsoft Confirms “Double Tap to Wake” Coming Soon to supported devices

Double Tap to Wake is one of the most used feature in your windows phone. Suprisingly, the said feature was missing from Microsoft latest flagship devices the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL when it was initially launched with Windows 10 Mobile Threshold 2 Build.

We were hoping that Microsoft will bring “Double Tap to Wake” feature for the next generation of Lumia devices with Redstone the next major update for Windows 10, But, Unfortunately even that didn’t happened. Both the devices are packed with decent hardware and it seems the real issues are related to Battery.

Wondering what is Double Tap to Wake?

Double Tap to wake feature gives you an alternative for using the unlock key to wake up your phone.

Well, Microsoft teased earlier that they were working on the said feature to work on supported devices but nothing was official. Thankfully, in a response to a user on Feedback Hub Microsoft Engineer confirmed that the feature is coming to supported devices. You can check the screenshot above.
