Meizu A5 launched With 5-inch HD Display, 3060 mAh Battery at Rs. 6,600

Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer based in Zhuhai, Guangdong, China launched their latest smartphone “Meizu A5” in the budget segment. the smartphone is listed on the company’s website and is priced at CNY 699 (approx Rs. 6,600) – The smartphone is currently available for sale only in China and there are no reports about its availability in other markets.

Coming to the specifications, The Meizu A5 sports a 5-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 p) Display along with a pixel density of 294 ppi. it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.3GHz (cortex-A53 / 1.3 GHz x 4) MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU. the smartphone is packed with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up-to 128GB via MicroSD card support. the smartphone runs on Flyme 6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update and is backed by 3060 mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Meizu A5 smartphone sports a  8-megapixel rear camera with F/2.0 aperture, 4P Lens, Continuous Shooting mode, Panorama mode, Dual-LED flash. on the front, there’s a  5-megapixel front facing camera with F/2.2 aperture, 4P Lens, Face exposure enhancements and Beauty algorithm.

The Meizu A5 smartphone connectivity options include 3G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS & GLONASS. it also on-board sensors including Gravity sensor, Infrared sensor, Ambient Light sensor, Electronic Compass & Gyroscope. the smartphone is available in Black, Gold, and Silver color options and measures at 144 x 70.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs at 140 grams.
