LG Electronics, the South Korean based multinational electronics company has announced LG Signature Edition (2018), its latest offering from its portfolio of ‘LG SIGNATURE’ series in Korea on July 30th, 2018. the device is successor to company’s last year offering LG Signature Edition. it comes with metal edges, and a specially processed Zirconium Ceramic on the back that prevent scratches and longer durability. the material is popular among manufacturers who often used it for making luxury watch brands.

  • It also provides engraving services which engraves your name on the back of device, similar to its predecessor.
  • 6-inch 18: 9 aspect ratio that can enjoy vivid high-definition image with wide screen.

The  LG Signature Edition (2018) carry forwards the same design element of its predecessor with metal edges and Zirconium Ceramic on the back. it sports bezels on top and bottom with an 18:9 OLED ‘FullVision’ display. the dual rear camera setup is stacked vertically with the flash module, sitting next to it. the fingerprint sensor is placed on the back, and just beneath it there’s an B&O logo, with the company’s “LG SIGNATURE EDITION” logo sitting at the bottom back.

The  LG Signature Edition (2018) is priced at KRW 1,999,800 (approximately $1,790 | ₹1,23,000) in Korea and will be available with a limited stock of 300 devices. the device is already available for pre-booking and will go on sale starting from August 13 in the region. surprisingly, the company is also offering Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H9i headphones worth KRW 700,000 (approx ₹43,000) bundled with the device for free.

The  LG Signature Edition (2018) bears a 6-inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) QHD+ OLED ‘FullVision’ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 538 PPI pixel density, HDR10, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform paired with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. the device is packed with 256GB onboard storage and supports expandable memory upto 2TB via MicroSD card support. It runs on LG UX with Android 8.0 Oreo and is backed by an 3,300 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and Wireless charging support. it comes with IP68 rating for Water, dust resistant and is also MIL-STD 810G certified.

In the camera department, the device sports an dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens, and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor with 107-degree super-wide-angle lens, f/1.9 aperture, and LED flash. on the front, there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens, and f/1.9 aperture for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. the device measures at 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm, and weights at 157 grams.
