Leaked Renders Reveals Upcoming LG V30 Smartphone From All Sides

LG Electronics – the South Korean based multinational electronics company is scheduled to announced their upcoming device the LG V30 at a launch event held at IFA in Berlin on August 31. the LG V30 is the successor of the LG V20 from its portfolio of ‘V’ series which consist of high-end Android smartphones.

The device is yet again in news thanks courtesy, Tipster Evan Blass who shared the render of the upcoming device from all sides which reveals the LG V30 in metallic body sporting a silver colour variant in Bezel-less display (on Left and Right side, hardly on top and button) with no traces of Home button and Navigation key. the render showcase Volume rockers are placed on the left edge, while the SIM tray is on the right.

On the back, there’s a Dual Rear camera setup at the back placed horizontally with Flash sitting next to it. furthermore, the device name is present in the middle, while the company’s logo is present at the bottom.

Previous reports suggests, the device will ditched its highlighted secondary display in favour of  the much evolved Floating Bar, the semi-transparent Floating Bar allows for quick access to frequently used functions and can be dragged completely off the FullVision display when not needed. When powered off, the Always-on Display is even more customizable than before. The AOD now not only shows the clock, it can also be set to display Quick Tools, Music Player or a personal photograph as well.

The LG V30 features a new UX 6.0+ which is an advanced version of LG’s UX that has been optimized to work even better with the immersive 18:9 OLED FullVision display while offering more personalization options for a more intuitive user experience. the new UX is designed so that users can leverage its advanced capabilities to the fullest.

Coming to specification, The LG V30 features a 6-inch OLED QHD+ Full Vision display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. the device is expected to backed by a 3,200 mAh Battery. the device is expected to come in two variants differ by mass storage with Regular and Plus which will offer 64GB and 128GB internal storage respectively. some reports suggest that the key difference between both the variants will be in audio department and its wireless charging capabilities.

On the optics front, both the device will sport dual rear cameras which consist a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel secondary sensor coupled with F/1.6 aperture and glass lens which is touted as the world’s largest aperture and clearest lens ever to be exists ever in a smartphone. the F/1.6 lens delivers 25 percent more light to the sensor compared to an F/1.8 lens. while, the glass Crystal Clear Lens delivers greater light-collecting ability than a plastic lens as well as better color reproduction. the LG V30 is targeted at users who are passionate about photography and videography.

The camera in the LG V30 is superior to the camera of its predecessor, let alone other smartphones. The camera in the V30 cuts edge distortion by a third compared to the V20 when capturing wide angle shots, making it ideal for group wefies, spacious interiors and expansive landscapes.

“LG boasts an unrivaled heritage in smartphone photography and our decision to adopt glass in the V30 camera is specifically because this has traditionally been the realm of DSLRs,” said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “For the users for whom the V series was designed, this kind of innovation is significant.”

Coming to the pricing,  The LG V30 and LG V30 Plus is expected to price at 800,000 KRW (approx $700) and 1,000,000 KRW (approx $875) respectively.
