Honor Note 10 With 6.95-inch Display, 5000mAh Battery & Liquid Cooling Technology Launched

As promised earlier Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced Honor Note 10, the company’s latest phablet offering at a launch event held in China on 31st July, 2018. the company claimed it was under development for more than two years and was temporarily suspended with the predecessor Honor Note 8, being the last device from the company’s portfolio of ‘Note’ series which was announced back in 2016.

Honor Note 10 Highlight Features

  • The Honor Note 10 bears a 6.95-inch FHD+ 18.5:9 AMOLED display.
  • It is powered by an Kirin 970 10nm Soc paired with 8GB of RAM.
  • the device comes with CPU Turbo, GPU Turbo and Double Turbo mode with a dedicated hardware keys to operate which can also be used as camera button.
  • It comes with new liquid cooling technology dubbed as ‘THE NINE’ which offers 8-layer heat dissipation. the outer heat dissipation layer has PC-grade liquid cooling pipe that promises 41-percent increase in heat dissipation and at the same time reducing CPU temperature  up to 10-Degree Celcius.

Honor Note 10 price, availability

The Honor Note 10 is priced at CNY 2,799 (approx $410 | ₹ 28,000)  for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage option, CNY 3,199 (approx $468 | ₹ 32,000)  for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option. the premium variant with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option is priced at CNY 3,599 (approx $527 | ₹ 36,000) — All the variants will go on sale stating from August 1st in the country in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color variants.

Honor Note 10 specs

The Honor Note 10 bears a 6.95-inch (1080 × 2220 pixels) FHD+ 18.5:9 AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass lamination, HDR10 support, 355 PPI pixel density, 600 nits of brightness, and 115-percent NTSC Color Gamut. it is powered by an 2.4GHz octa-core Huawei HiSilicon AI-powered Kirin 970 10nm chipset paired with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU, i7 co-processor, NPU, CPU and GPU Turbo technology. it is available in 6GB RAM with 64GB/128GB storage option, and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option. with all the variants supporting storage expansion up to 256GB via MicroSD card support. the device runs on Emotion UI 8.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh lithium polymer battery with 5V/4.5A Super Fast-Charging technology. it comes with USB Type-C audio support, and Dolby Atmos which offers astonishing clarity, and richness for mesmerizing audio experience.

In the camera department, the device sports a dual rear camera setup stacked vertically with a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection auto-focus, LED flash, and a 24-megapixel secondary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. On the front, there’s an 13-megapixel front-facing camera with fixed-focus, f/2.0 aperture for selfie and video calling. the rear camera supports 4K video recording and doesn’t supports optical image stabilization, whereas, the front camera is capable of 1080p video recording.

Both, the front and rear camera comes with AI-scene recognition technology, with different mode such as  super night scene, professional mode, portrait mode, panorama , HDR, smile shot, voice Selfie, Timelapse, and slow-motion.

Connectivity option includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C with OTG support. onboard sensors includes gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass, proximity sensor, hall sensor, and fingerprint sensor (on back). the device measures at 177 × 85 × 7.65 mm, and weighs at 230 grams.
