Honor 7X headed to offline retail stores, Red Limited edition variant goes on sale starting from Feb 9

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced that the Honor 7X, which was only available online exclusively via Amazon India, will be sold offline via authorized stores and resellers starting from Friday across India. the Honor 7x will be available offline only with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration which is priced at Rs. 15,999. while, the budget friendly 32GB storage variant will be available online exclusive via Amazon India at Rs. 12,999.

Announcing the launch, P Sanjeev, Vice-President, Sales, Huawei Consumer Business Group, “We are excited to announce that consumers will now be able to get their hands on our superstar smartphone across and have the pleasure of owning one of the best dual camera budget smartphones. Honor 7X will be available at Honor authorized stores and re-sellers across India starting 9th February,”

Earlier this month, the company announced Honor 7X Red limited edition  in the country. the device will go on sale starting from tomorrow 13:00 PM IST at Rs. 12,999 and will be available only in 4GB RAM / 32GB storage configuration. the company also had recently announced that Honor 7X is manufacturing in India under the ‘Make in India’ initiative with a partnership with Flex at their plant situated in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai.

Honor 7X Specifications

The Honor 7X sports metal unibody and as said earlier bears a 5.93-inch Full HD  (2160 x 1080 p) bezel-less Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2.5D curved glass. it is powered by an 2.36GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and is available with 32GB/64GB storage options and supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Emotion UI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat update and is backed by a 3,340 mAh battery. it device also sports Fingerprint security placed at the rear.

On the optics front, The Honor 7X sports a dual camera setup on the rear which is a combination of 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera and is capable of capturing DSLR like Bokeh effects. it is also packed with 8MP front facing selfie shooter.

On the connectivity front, the option includes Hybrid Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB. the device also on-boards sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. It measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weights 165 grams.
