HMD Global Officially Launched The Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 in India

India’s most famous smartphone brand Nokia has made a grand come back in the smartphone market. HMD Global, the Finnish company who owns the license to use Nokia’s brand name on phones and tablets has today launched the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphone in the country.

The Company officially announced the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 along with the iconic Nokia 3310 revamped version at Mobile World Congress, 2017 held in Barcelona. the company launched the Nokia 3310 (2017) in India last month and it is available in four colour options with Warm Red and Yellow, both with glossy finish, and Dark Blue and Grey, both with a matte finish.

HMD Global, also stated, “that the smartphones will get the Android O update once it is release and available from Google for their OEM partners and the company is also committed to provide the monthly Android security updates.”

Coming to the specifications:

Nokia 3 — The lower-end Nokia 3 feature’s a poly-carbonate back with a aluminum frame and is packed by a 5-inch display powered by a MediaTek 6737 coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage on-board. on the camera front it is packed by a 8MP front and rear cam and just like the Nokia 5 it also runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the box with Google Assistant. the smartphone  is priced at Rs. 9,499 and will be available via offline stores from June, 16.

Nokia 5 — The curved edges Nokia 5 features a metallic body with a 5.5-inch display and it is further packed by QualcommSnapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of Ram and 16 GB of internal storage on-board. on the camera front it is packed by a 13 Megapixel rear cam and a 8 Megapixel front camera with wide angle support. it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the box with Google Assistant and will be available in silver, blue, matte black and copper colour option. the smartphone is priced at Rs. 12,899 and will be up for pre-booking starting from July, 7 through offline channels.

Nokia 6 — Nokia 6 is a Nokia-branded mid-range smartphone and it is HMD Global first smartphone after acquiring Nokia’s devices division from Microsoft. it is also the first Nokia-branded smartphone since Lumia 638 in 2014. the dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch powered by 1.1GHz octa-core QualcommSnapdragon 430 processor processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. for the Camera lovers, The Nokia 6 is packed by a 16 megapixel primary camera on the rear and 8-megapixel front camera for the selfie addicts. on the storage front it comes built-in with 32GB/64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. it runs on Android 7.0 (Andorid Nougat) out of the box and is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. on the connectivity front Nokia 6 includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, FM, 3G/4G. the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope Sensors. The handset also supports Dolby Atmos to give you 3D sound effect. the smartphone is priced at Rs. 14,999 and will be available exclusively on Amazon India, furthermore, the Amazon is also offering a discount of Rs. 1,000 if you purchase the smartphone using Amazon Pay balance. however, the company hasn’t disclosed when it will go on sale.

The highlight feature of all the smartphone is that all of them support 4G VoLTE and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat update.
