ASUS yesterday launched an updated version of the ZenFone Max smartphone in India!

ASUS yesterday launched an updated version of the ZenFone Max smartphone in India. The smartphone maker also announced that Sonakshi Sinha, the Bollywood actress will be the company’s first ever brand ambassador in India.

The ZenFone Max sports a 5.5Inch 720pixel Display and will also comes in two variants with 2GB/3GB RAM. On the storage fronts, it comes with 32GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB via MicroSD card. It also features 13MP Rear camera, 5MP front camera which is carried over from its previous model, The updated version of ZenFone Max comes with Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update out-of-box. The highlight feature of the smartphone is its 5000mAh battery which ASUS claims give three days of usage and 38hours of standby time. The smartphone can also charge other devices via OTG cable.

The new ASUS ZenFone Max will come in White, Blue, Orange and Black colour and it will be priced at ₹9,999 for the 2GB RAM variant and ₹12,999 for 3GB RAM variant.
