Alcatel 1 With 5-Inch FullView 18:9 Display, Android Oreo (Go Edition) Smartphone Launched

TCL Communication owned Alcatel has today officially launched the company’s latest budget offering Alcatel 1 running on Android Oreo (Go edition) and pre-installed with Google apps which are optimized for lower-end hardware. the highlight feature of the device is it features FullView 18:9 display, MediaTek MT6739 processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Alcatel 1 is an all-in-one device offering everything you need: a sizable screen in a compact and lightweight device, distinctive design and a camera with comprehensive social media sharing features.

Alcatel 1 Specifications

The Alcatel 1 sports a metallic finishing and bears a 5-inch qHD+ (480 x 960p) FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. it is powered by an 1.28GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. it comes with 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) and is backed by an 2,000 mAh battery which the company claims offers 8 hours of battery life under 4G connectivity.

In the camera department, the device sports an 5-megapixel rear camera ( interpolated to 8-megapixel ) with flash. it comes with features such as Instant collage which use auto-adjusting viewfinder to frame and shoot every moment, Photo booth which keep best poses in over four pictures over three seconds, Social square, and a One-Handed Mode.

Connectivity option includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2, a Micro-USB port, and GPS/ A-GPS. it also on-boards accelerometer and proximity sensor. the device measures at 137.6 x 65.7 x 9.8 mm and weighs at 134 grams.

Alcatel 1 Price

The Alcatel 1 is priced at $89 (approx Rs. 6,200) in selected markets starting from July 2018 in Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Gold color options.
