Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker has today announced Redmi Note 5 Pro Flame Red edition, an all-new color variant of the company’s budget offering in China. the device is priced at at CNY 1,399 (approx Rs. 14,500)and is already available for purchase in the country with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro sports an aluminium unibody and bears a 5.99-inch FHD+ FullView display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, 2.5D Curved glass protection, nd 450-nits brightness. it is powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. the device is packed with 64GB storage which is further expandable via MicroSD card. it runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is backed by an 4,000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
In the camera department, the device sports an AI-powered dual rear camera setup stacked vertically with 12-megapixel primary sensor with 1.4micron pixel size, F/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor to capture depth-of-view for Portrait shots. it features dual autofocus, EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), HDR, Burst Mode and Panorama mode. On the front, the device sports a 13-megapixel front-facing sensor powered with Artificial Intelligence and front LED flash for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. the new variant is packed with the same hardware available in the regular variant which was earlier available in Black, Gold, and Blue colour options.
