LG Electronics, the South Korean based multinational electronics company has today unveiled a new device in its portfolio of ‘X’ series. the company has introduced their 2018 smartphone lineup with the launch of mid-ranger rugged LG X4 Plus in South Korea. currently, there are no reports about its availability in other markets but its is expected to go on sale in its home market for $280. the device is available in Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet color options.
The highlight feature of the device is that it comes with MIL-STD-810G rating, which means it can survive impact, low temperature, high temperature, thermal shock and humidity. however, do take a note that it doesn’t comes with water and dust resistant rating. the device comes with Hi-Fi digital-analog converter which allows for up to 32-bit 192-kHz audio output and is also packed with the company’s mobile payment service which was announced in the company’s home market based in South Korea last year in June.

The LG X4 Plus looks like a regular device and sports a rear facing fingerprint sensor. it bears a 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, the device is powered by 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 mobile platform paired with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat update and is packed with 32GB of on-board storage which also supports storage expansion via MicroSD card.
The device is packed with 13-Megapixel rear camera with a 77-degree wide-angle lens and a 5-Megapixel selfie shooter with 100-degree wide-angle lens.
The LG X4 Plus is backed by an 3,000 mAh battery capacity and includes connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack. it measures at 148.6 x 75.1 x 8.6 mm and weights at 172. 3 grams.
