As expected OnePlus has today finally launched the OnePlus 5T Lava Read colour variant in India. the device is already available for pre-booking starting from today 11th of January 2018 and will go on sale from 20th January at 12:00 IST exclusively via Amazon India. to quickly recall, the company earlier launched the OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition in its home market based in China. you can book the device from here.
Inspired by the dynamic nature of lava with colors that change under different types of light, the radiant Lava Red color shade is achieved through accurate combination of temperature, consistency and baking time with less than 0.01% variation. Additionally, it uses two anodic oxidation processes, using double blasting and an AF coating to ensure the texture and feel. A completely redesigned wallpaper unique to this edition further enhances the user experience.
The OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition is available only with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and is priced at Rs. 37,999. the device is bundled with offers such as exciting offers on Kindle eBook, 100GB 4G data for 18 months from Idea, 250 Rs of Amazon Pay Balance to stream Amazon Prime Videos and a free 12 months damage insurance by Servify.
Coming to the specifications, The OnePlus 5T sports a 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED (1080 x 2160 p) Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by 2.45GHz Octa-core QualcommSnapdragon 835 Processor paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. the device comes with 64GB/128GB storage option and runs on OxygenOS 4.7.1 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and is said to receive Android 8.0 Oreo Beta build by early December.
The OnePlus 5T sports a dual rear camera setup which is combination of 16-megapixel Sony IMX 398 primary sensor with 1.12μm pixel size and 20-megapixel Sony IMX 376K secondary sensor with 1.0μm pixel size. both, the cameras features F/1.7 aperture and 27.22 mm focal length which helps to capture better low-light photography. the device sports a Dual LED flash. the company also mentioned that the device comes with improved support for Low-light photography and comes with portrait mode and video stabilization. The device also sports a 16-megapixel (Sony IMX 371 sensor) front facing selfie shooter with 1.0μm pixel size and F/2.0 Aperture.
the OnePlus 5T is backed by a non-removable 3,300 mAh battery coupled with the company’s in-house Dash Charge technology which claims to charge the device for a day’s use in just 30 minutes. the device sports a Fingerprint sensor placed on the rear and comes with Face unlock features.
The OnePlus 5T was originally launched at a price tag of $499 (Rs. 32,999) for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant and $559 (Rs. 37,999) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
