Nokia X6, the first device from Finnish company HMD Global offering a ‘iPhone X’ like display with notch has been an instant hit in China after it launch. the device ran out of stocks in less than 10 seconds in its first sale on May 30.
According to various reports, The device was recently listed in the Bluetooth certification site in China as model no TA-1109, powered by a MediaTek processor which confirming that the device is heading towards an imminent launch.
As per latest development, the Nokia X6 support page has has gone live on the Nokia’s website in India which solids the proof that the Finnish company is gearing to launch the device in the country anytime soon. The website page also notes that the Nokia X6 meets all the DoT regulations in the country and states, “Your mobile device is also designed to meet the requirements for exposure to radio waves established by the India Department of Telecommunications. These requirements set a SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue,” — you can check it here.
To, quickly recall, The Nokia X6 sports a metal frame along with a glass back which covers the body up-to 95-percent and bears a 5.8-inch (2280 × 1080p) Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. it is powered by an 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 Mobile Platform paired with Adreno 509 GPU. the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo update and is upgradable to Android P. the device comes with 4GB RAM with 32GB/64GB on-board storage variant and 6GB RAM with 64GB on-board storage variant. both, the variants supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card.
On the optics front, the device sports a dual rear camera setup with a primary 16-megapixel RGB sensor with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size and a secondary 5-megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.2um pixel size. the camera also comes with Artificial Intelligence supports and improves photography give user the ability to optimised colour contrast, add depth-of-field and portrait lighting effects. it also supports HDR, Face Unlock and Bothie features which allows users to utilize front and rear cameras simultaneously.
On the front, there’s another 16-megapixel selfie camera with F/2.0 aperture, and 1.0um pixel size.
The Nokia X6 is fueled by an 3,060 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology which charges the device up-to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. connectivity option includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, Type-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, and FM Radio. it also on-boards accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and Fingerprint sensor (on the rear). It measures at 147.2 x 70.98 x 8.59 mm (including Lens) and weights at 151 grams.
The Nokia X6 is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 13,800) for the 4GB RAM with 32GB on-board storage variant and CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 16,000) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 18,100).
