According to a fresh report from our friends at WinFuture, the Finnish company is closely working with its hardware supplier and manufacturing partner Foxconn (FIH Mobile) and is secretly working on a brand new flagship device which is codenamed internally as Nokia A1 Plus or simply as “A1P” which will feature Snapdragon 845 SoC and a OLED display which will support in-display fingerprint scanner which will be supplied by LG Electronics. the device is said to be made and developed exclusively for the European market. surprisingly, the Nokia 8 Sirocco was codenamed internally as “A1N”.

Earlier, there were also reports of the existence of Nokia 9 which were also leaked with rumoured specification such as the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC and a in-display fingerprint scanner, a first from the company. So, there’s also a high possibility that the Nokia A1 Plus would debut as Nokia 9 which is packed with similar configurations.
The report further states that company is facing major hurdle with the camera setup. however, the report doesn’t clear states what kind of issue the company is exactly facing. the device originally went in development in February 2018 and was scheduled for mid-2018 release date but unfortunately, it was delayed due to some unknown reasons. the device is now expected to launch during IFA 2018 and will go on sale later this year.

The Nokia 9 was tipped to feature a 6.01-inch 18:9 OLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and in-display fingerprint sensor, powered by Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM/256GB storage, backed by 3900mAh battery. it was rumoured to comes with 18-karat gold finish on the back with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. additionally, the device was rumoured to sport a Triple camera setup with a 41-megapixel primary sensor, 20-megapixel secondary sensor and another 9.7-megapixel sensor with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon and LED flash.
