Moto X4 With Dual Rear Camera, 4GB RAM Launched in India, Pricing Starts At Rs. 20,999

Lenovo owned Motorola today finally announced the Moto X4 smartphone in India. the company has launched the device in two variants in the country with 3GB RAM & 32GB storage variant and 4GB RAM & 64GB storage variant. the highlight feature of the device is the Dual Rear Cameras setup, and support for voice based search apps including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The device comes with an IP68 rating and is water and dust resistant.

Lenovo owned Motorola is on a roll this year launching devices one after the another on a successive note. the company is once again in the news as the rumor mill is buzzing that the firm is expected to announced soon a new device in the X series which was in the back seat since 2015 in favor of the Moto Z segment. The device we are talking about is the upcoming Moto X4 which was leaked earlier in photo render and showcase the device from both front and the back. the highlight feature of the device is its Rear Dual Camera Setup coupled with the premium looks which makes the device more like a flagship offering. the device is also expected with IP68 dust and water resistant.

Moto X4 Specification

The Moto X4 sports a metal unibody design and bears  5.2-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 p) LTPS IPS display with pixel density of 424ppi  and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. it is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with  Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB on-board storage. both, the variant supports storage expansion up-to 2TB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-box (Android Oreo update expected by Early 2018) and is backed by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery accompanied with 15W TurboPower which gives 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charge.

On the optics front, as said earlier the device sports a dual rear camera setup placed at the back with a protecting round shape ring. the camera consists a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with Dual Autofocus Pixel sensor, F/2.0 aperture, and 1.4-um micron pixel and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with 120-Degree field-of-view , F/2.2 aperture and 1.12-um micron pixel. the dual camera comes with support for Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) dual LED flash, and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF). the camera supports photography modes such as Ultra-wide angle shot, Professional mode, Depth detection & depth effects, Selective Focus, Selective Black & White (beta), Background Replacement (beta), Spot Color, Landmark/Object Recognition, Scan barcode/QR codes/Business cards, Panorama, Slo-motion video and Best shot modes.

On the front, there is 16-megapixel selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture, and an 1um micron pixel, selfie flash, adaptive low light mode, Selfie panorama, Face filters, Beautification mode and Professional mode.

Both, the cameras are capable of capturing video recording in 2160P/4K (30fps), 1080P (60fps), 720P (30fps), 480P (30fps) format.

On the connectivity front, the option includes Dual (Nano) SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz + 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS/A-GPS, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. the device also on-boards Fingerprint sensor (embedded on Home Button), Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light sensor, Magnetometer, Gyroscope and Sensor Hub. it  measures at 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm (9.45 mm at camera bump) at and weights at 163 grams. the device will be available in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.

Moto X4 Price, Availability & Launch Offer

The Moto X4 is priced at Rs. 20,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant, and Rs. 22,999 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. the device will be available only exclusively via Flipkart and goes on sale starting from tonight November, 13 11:59 PM (IST) Midnight. the device will be also available offline via Moto Hubs.

Coming to the offers, The device is available with a discount of Rs. 2,500 on exchange of your old smartphone and up-to 10-percent discount on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards.
