Meizu, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced Meizu M6, the company’s latest budget offering in India. the device is successor to the company’s last year’s offering Meizu M5. it is priced at Rs. 7,699 and will be available via Amazon India.
the Meizu M6 sports a polycarbonate body with a metal frame and bears a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720p) HD 16:9 display with 2.5D curved glass and 450 nits brightness. it is powered by an 1.5GHz octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with Mali T860 GPU and 2GB of RAM. the device comes with 16GB onboard storage and supports storage expansion upto 128GB via MicroSD card. it runs on Flyme operating system 6.0 based on dated Android 7.0 Nougat update and is backed by an 3,070 mAh battery. the device comes with fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button which the company claims unlocks the device in 0.2 seconds.
In the camera department, the device sports a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, and F/2.2 aperture, while on the front it there’s an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Both the front and the rear camera support LED flash for better picture capture in a low-light scenario.
Connectivity options includes Hybrid Dual SIM(nano+nano/microSD), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and GPS. the device measures at 148.2 x 72.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs at 143 grams.
