LG Electronics, the South Korean based multinational electronics company today unveiled the LG V30 in a new ‘Raspberry Rose’ colour variant just one week ahead of its debut at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018. the new variant will be available soon in Korea after CES 2018 and will be available later in other markets including Europe and Asia.
Visitors to CES 2018 will be the first in the world to experience LG Electronics’ newest, eye-catching and romance-inspiring color for the flagship V30 smartphone. Raspberry Rose, an intense saturated version of red, is a hue quite unlike any previous smartphone color offered by LG or its competitors. Designed for fashion-conscious smartphone users, LG created a unique color that provides outstanding visibility and to makes this V30 an ideal Valentine’s Day gift.
To quickly recall, The LG V30 was originally announced last year in August 2017 in Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet colour options. the company however only launched the elder sibling LG V30+ in India.
The LG V30 bears a 6-inch P-OLED (2880 x 1440p) 18:9 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is powered by an Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. the device is packed with 64GB of on-board storage and supports storage expansion up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat update out-of-the box and is backed by a 3,300 mAh non-removable battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 technology with wireless charging.
The device comes with IP68 rating of dust and water resistant and also features enhanced audio experience with Hi-Fi Quad DAC as well as auto tuning by B&O Play. The smartphone is Google Daydream ready and comes with support for all compatible games, and apps.
On the optics front, the device sports a rear dual camera setup which is a combination of a 16-megapixel standard angle primary lens with F/1.6 aperture and a 13-megapixel wide-angle secondary lens with F/1.9 aperture. on the front, there’s an 5-megapixel camera for the selfie lovers.
On the Connectivity front, the options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible). it also on-boards Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient light sensor. the device measures at 151.7 x 75.4 x 7.3 mm and weights 158 grams.
