HTC Corporation, the Taiwan based smartphone and electronics manufacturing company is teasing the launch of its upcoming smartphone in China. the company has posted a status on Weibo (Chinese Social Networking site) “2018.01.15” urging fans to “Save The Date” as what looks like the date of the official announcement of the Company’s latest offering the HTC U11 EYEs which was leaked earlier by prolific tipster Evan Blass.
The HTC U11 EYEs is a mid-ranger offering from the company’s profile of U11 series and it is code named internally as Harmony. According to leaked specification, the device is expected to bear a 6-inch Full-HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) Super LCD3 18:9 display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 mobile platform paired with 4GB RAM.
On the optics front, the device sports a dual selfie camera setup and comes with single rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. it also sports a Fingerprint scanner on rear.
The device is expected to packed with 64GB on-board storage and run on Android 7.1 Nougat with the company’s Sense UI on top. it will be further backed by an 3,930 mAh battery and comes IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
The device is expected to launch om January 15 and will be available in Black, Silver and Red colour options.
