Honor, Huawei sub-brand on Wednesday has launched the Honor 9 Lite smartphone in India. the biggest highlight feature of the device is that it comes with FOUR CAMERAS – two on front, two on rear, along with the a bezel-less design sporting 18:9 ‘FullVision’ edge-to-edge Display. the device will go on sale in the country starting from January 21 in a flash sale at 12:01 PM midnight exclusively via Flipkart and and Honor India’s Store.
The Honor 9 Lite bears a a 5.65-inch Full-HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio along with a pixel density of 428 ppi. the device is powered by a Huawei’s HiSilicon octa-core Kirin 659 chipset processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and Mali T830-MP2 GPU. it comes with 32GB/64GB of on-board storage and supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Emotion UI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo update and is fueled by an non-removable 3,000 mAh which the company claims is fully charged in 2 hours 30 minutes and delivers a talk-time of up-to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days.
On the optics front, the device sports a 13-megapixel primary sensor, paired with another 2-megapixel secondary sensor on both rear and front equipped with a LED flash and PDAF. it also feature different modes including Selfie Portrait, Burst mode, Panorama mode, Smile capture, and Voice selfie.
On the connectivity front, the option includes Dual SIM (nano+Micro), 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB (2.0) with OTG support. the device on-boards Gravity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, Distance sensor, Compass and Fingerprint sensor (placed on rear). the device measures at 151 mm × 71.9 mm × 7.60 mm and weights at 149 grams (including battery).
