Huawei’s sub-brand Honor on Tuesday announced the Honor 7X smartphone for the Indian market at a launch event held in London, China. the device is successor to Honor 6X which was launched last year. the highlight feature of the device is that it sports 5.93-inch Full HD (2160 x 1080 p) Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2.5D curved glass.
The company also launched the Honor View 10 for the global audience which is re-branded version of the company’s latest flagship Honor V10 which was announced last week in China.
The Honor 7X sports metal unibody and as said earlier bears a 5.93-inch Full HD (2160 x 1080 p) bezel-less Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and 2.5D curved glass. it is powered by an 2.36GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and is available with 32GB/64GB storage options and supports storage expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Emotion UI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat update and is backed by a 3,340 mAh battery. it device also sports Fingerprint security placed at the rear.
On the optics front, The Honor 7X sports a dual camera setup on the rear which is a combination of 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary camera and is capable of capturing DSLR like Bokeh effects. it is also packed with 8MP front facing selfie shooter.
On the connectivity front, the option includes Hybrid Dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS Bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm audio jack and Micro-USB. the device also on-boards sensors including accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and proximity sensor. It measures 156.5 x 75.3 x 7.6 mm and weights 165 grams.
The Honor 7X is priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 32GB storage variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 64GB variant. the device will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India starting from December 7, 12:00 PM in Black, Blue, and Gold colour options.
