Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has today announced Honor 10 GT, a new powerful variant of the company’s flagship offering Honor 10. the highlight feature of the device is it comes with GPU Turbo graphics processing acceleration technology which offers smoother and faster gaming experience by increasing graphic processing efficiency on the device. the technology enhances the graphics performance of the device by 60-percent and at the same time consumes 30-percent less power.
The company has already revealed that they’re planning to extend the GPU Turbo Technology support for several devices by providing an update over-the-air in the coming days. Another key feature of the device is the all new AIS, AI intelligent stabilization, an AI-powered low-light image capture technology which automatically detects the scene and fine tunes the camera settings to capture stunning night shots even without the support of a tripod. the feature will be eventually available as a ‘Beta’ will rolled out starting from July 12 for the device.

The Honor 10 GT bears a 5.84-inch ( 2240 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 19:9 LCD display with a pixel density of 432 ppi, 2.5D curved glass protection, 96% NTSC Color gamut, and a screen-to-body ratio of 86.2-percent. it is powered by an octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 970 (4 x 2.36 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53) 10nm processor paired with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and a massive 8GB RAM. it comes with 128GB of internal storage. the device runs on Emotion UI 8.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo update and is backed by an 3,400 mAh battery with fast charging support. the device comes with fingerprint sensor embedded on home button. it comes with built-in AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip and provides 7.1 multi-channel sound effects.
In the camera department, the device sports a dual rear camera setup with a 16-megapixel (RGB) primary sensor with LED flash, and a 24-megapixel secondary (Monochrome) sensor with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF to capture depth-of-view effects for portrait shots. the AI-powered camera can intelligently detect the object or scene being picture and fine tune the camera settings accordingly. it can also detect 22 different types of objects and scenes.
On the front, there’s an 24-megapixel AI-Powered front-facing selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. it also supports 3D Portrait lighting mode and Facial recognition technology.
Connectivity option includes Dual SIM (nano + nano), Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack. onboard sensors include Compass, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Infrared sensor, and Gyroscope the device measures at 149.6 × 71.2 × 7.7 mm, and weighs at 153 grams.
The Honor 10 GT will go on sale starting from July 24th in China. however, details related to pricing is still unknown. to quickly recall, the original Honor 10 is priced in India at Rs. 32,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB on-board storage variant.
